After beating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday in match 30, MS Dhoni praised Ruturaj Gaikwad and Dwayne Bravo for their fantastic batting performances at the Dubai International Stadium. Despite an early collapse, CSK managed to put 156 for six in 20 overs, with Ruturaj Gaikwad scoring an unbeaten 88-run from 58 balls. Meanwhile, Bravo also scored a quick run of 23 runs in eight deliveries in the final stages of their innings. Mumbai could only score 136 runs to chase a target of 157.
During the post-match press conference, Dhoni said: “At 30 for 4 you want to get an honorable score, I felt Gaikwad and Bravo were getting us more than we expected. We thought of 140, to get close to 160 great. ”
Dhoni also said the wicket was ‘twofold’, causing CSK to start slowly against MI. He also explained that after Rayudu’s injury, it was difficult for the team to jump back.

The win also helped CSK start the tournament’s UAE leg well. Chennai climbed to the top of the IPL 2021 standings, with 12 points in eight games. Meanwhile, Mumbai is still fourth with eight points from eight games.
