Kolkata Knight Riders’ Andre Russell has brought out an accurate yorker to send Royal Challengers Bangalore star batsman AB de Villiers back to the pavilion for a golden duck during Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 match number 31 on Monday. De Villiers had just come to bat after the dismissal of KS Bharat. Russell immediately went full and straight to him and beat De Villiers’ defense. After achieving the big wicket of De Villiers, he celebrates it with joy in the air.

Earlier in the match, Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bat at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Kohli’s decision came back because KKR bowlers regularly chopped away with wickets. Seam bowler Prasidh Krishna inflicted a huge blow on RCB when he caught Virat Kohli in front of the post with his fourth delivery that dived in and hit him above the knee.
After completing a double-century of matches for RCB, Kohli underwent a review, but ball-tracking technology confirmed it was going to hit the stumps. That was immediately after Kohli sent a Krishna delivery to the outside in front of the square for a delightful four.
RCB then lost Devdutt Padikkal on the last ball of the sixth over. The franchise in Bangalore then lost KS Bharat and AB de Villiers in the same over.
A few overs later, Glenn Maxwell and debutant Wanindu Hasaranga were both dismissed by Varun Chakravarthy.
RCB was eventually bowled out for a meager total of 92.
