Candidate Trump endorses Liz Cheney’s replacement, calling him ‘racist and xenophobic’

Harriet Hageman, the Wyoming attorney who opposes Liz Cheney in an upcoming by-election, loudly supported the anti-Trump Republican during her 2016 congressional campaign and strongly opposed President Trump.

Hageman also tried to stop Trump from getting the Republican nomination in 2016, calling him ‘racist and xenophobic’.

A Video Posted by CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski shows how Hageman refers to Cheney as a “proven, courageous, constitutional conservative.”

Hageman accused certain forces of trying to shut down ‘true conservatives’ like Cheney.

But, she said, Liz Cheney is too strong to succumb to the forces.

“There are and will be ongoing efforts to force true conservatives to sit down and remain silent,” she said. ‘These efforts have never worked for me, and I know it will not work and has no effect on Liz Cheney.

Trump’s choice once supported Liz Cheney

From there, things get worse with the approval of Harriet Hageman.

She was part of the ‘Never Trump’ forces in 2016.

The New York Times report that she was ‘part of the final Republican resistance to his rise in 2016’ and was working on a procedural trick during the Republican National Convention to replace Trump with Senator Ted Cruz.

She even spoke to leftist rhetoric to describe the former president as ‘someone who is racist and xenophobic’.

In a statement to CNN, Hageman explains that her actions at the time did not necessarily reflect her current view, after earning the Trump approval to take down Liz Cheney.

“It’s true that I was a Cruz delegate at the event in 2016, just like most of the Wyoming delegates,” she said. “Like me, there were a lot of people who initially supported other candidates, and then came after President Trump when he won the nomination.”

Trump supports Hageman

In his approval earlier this month, Trump said he supported Hageman to “replace the warmer and unfaithful Republican Liz Cheney.”

“Unlike RINO Liz Cheney, Harriet is in America,” he said. “Harriet fully supports me in replacing the number one Democrat audio bite provider, Liz Cheney.”

Cheney responds to the approval by adding her own audio bite – “Bring it.”

Hageman tells CNN that he fully supports President Trump today.

“I’m proud of his accomplishments, and for Wyoming, his America First policy was the best we’ve ever seen,” Hageman said. “He was the greatest president of my life and I am proud to have been able to rename him in 2020.”

Liz Cheney has the support of numerous anti-Trump Republicans, including President George W. Bush and former House Speakers John Boehner and Paul Ryan, and has a substantial war chest.

Hageman has no name recognition and a scent that she would still be a deep state lover RINO in the form of Cheney will definitely condemn her chances in the primary doom by motivating voters itching to remove Wyoming from Liz’s antics, to destroy.
