Adam Schiff warns Steve Bannon and Mark Meadows that they will be prosecuted if they do not testify

1/6 committee member, Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA), has sued four Trump associates that if they do not testify, they will be punishable for criminal contempt.
Rep. Skip tweeted:
Four of Donald Trump’s associates were summoned to testify on January 6.
If they refuse to comply, they could be subjected to criminal contempt.
What are they hiding? What are they afraid of?
The truth will come out. We will make sure of that.

Rep. Schiff spoke about the subpoenas issued for Mark Meadows, Steve Bannon, Kashyap Patel and Dan Scavino.
1/6 Committee made this clear. They do not waste. Schiff’s statement reflects that of fellow -1/6 committee member Jamie Raskin, who warned Trump and all his associates that the committee would prosecute criminal charges against anyone who complied with a subpoena. Raskin said subpoenas are not optional and warned of serious consequences for those who try to ignore them.
This is a different world for Trump and his associates now. They have no political power, and for those who have been sued, Trump has offered them no help or assistance.
Trump can not ignore this investigation, and he no longer has the platform to delegitimize it.
The 1/6 committee comes for Trump and his friends, and if they refuse to comply, they could get behind bars.
