Psaki evades question twice
Peter Doocy of Fox News told Psaki: ‘A week ago, the National School Boards Association wrote to the president to say that their teachers felt that some parents protesting recently could be tantamount to a form of domestic terrorism. ‘
Doocy asked, “Does the administration agree that parents are upset about their children’s curricula being domestic terrorists?”
The letter to which Doocy recently referred prompted Attorney General Merrick Garland to ask the FBI to investigate what he calls a “disturbing rise in harassment, intimidation and threats of violence” by parents during school meetings. racial curricula and mask mandates.

Psaki replied: ‘The Department of Justice said … threats against civil servants are not only illegal, they are contrary to the core values โโof our country.
“It’s true,” Psaki insisted. ‘These are threats against public servants, threats against members of the school board. Regardless of the reasoning, threats and violence against civil servants are illegal. โ

Doocy: ‘Would the administration be okay with the FBI using the Patriot Act to keep an eye on these parents?’
This answer did not exactly answer Doocy’s original question.
Violence and threats of violence are, of course, illegal. However, that was not the question.
So he persisted. Doocy asked Psaki if the administration would support the FBI’s use of the Patriot Act to target these parents.
Doocy said: ‘Something the school board association is asking for is that the administration should consider using the Patriot Act to consider an investigation into some of the school board protesters. Would the administration then be able to get the FBI to use the Patriot Act to monitor these parents? โ
Psaki escapes again.
“I’m not speaking on behalf of the National School Boards Association,” she replies. “I speak for this government.”
