Republican candidates like Youngkin are not even trying to hide behind a semblance of patriotism. They openly court and show their support to domestic terrorists.
The Washington DC expert class spends their time projecting national significance to the gubernatorial race in Virginia, but something more fundamental is at stake. A vote for Glenn Youngkin or any other Republican in 2021 or 2022 is a vote against democracy and a ballot in support of domestic terrorism.
Any candidate who faithfully marries a flag carried during the deadly attack on the Capitol is not fit to be governor and declares his threat to democracy.
The elections in 2021 and 2022 are not the contest year and mid-term contests. Democracy is on the ballot, and if voters do not show up to defend it, they will lose it.
