Actress Nora Fatehi was recently summoned by the Department of Enforcement Directorate in the extortion case with much crore led by conman Sukesh Chandrashekar. On behalf of the actress, her spokesperson has now issued a statement saying that Nora is the victim of the case and that she is giving her full cooperation to the ED officials who are investigating the case. The statement read: ‘On behalf of Nora Fatehi, we want to make clear the various assumptions that are circulating in the media. Nora Fatehi was the victim in the case, and as a witness she works together and assists the officers in the investigation. ‘Her spokesperson further explained that Nora has no direct or personal connection with the extortion rocket and was only called in to assist the officials in the investigation. The statement read: ‘We want to make it very clear that she was not part of anyone money laundering activity. She does not know or has no personal connection to the accused and was called by ED to strictly assist with the investigation. “While everyone is encouraged not to speculate, the statement concludes with: ‘We would like to urge our fellow friends in the media not to slander her name and make statements before announcing official information.’ Watch the video for more details.
