Chuck Todd fully embraced the Republican misinformation and examined the reality of the pandemic, while blaming Biden for not getting everything back to normal.
Chuck Todd blames Biden for not fixing everything.
Good Sunday morning –
The inability to fully recover from Covid-19 is an economic and political story.
And with the midterm elections just over a year away, the Democrats are really running the consequences. pic.twitter.com/03F0RHJv6N

Todd said when he opened Meet The Press:
And a good Sunday morning. The economy’s inability to fully recover from the shock of Covid-19 is an economic and political story. So what is holding the economy back? In the spring we thought we were turning the corner on Covid, but when we turned the corner, the Delta variant on the other side was waiting to hit us hard in the face. Refusal of delta and vaccine sent cases to their second highest peak of this pandemic this summer, before finally starting to decline. Let’s hope there is no other variant. A supply chain support to the Covid world has spread all over the world, causing cargo ship bottlenecks, delaying the delivery of goods and yes, increasing costs. The higher costs actually helped feed a rise in prices across the map, leading to the sharpest rise in inflation in 13 years.
On top of that, millions of Americans have decided they do not want to go back to their old high-voltage, low-wage jobs. It therefore keeps job creation stubbornly low over the past two months and takes some key workers out of the supply chain. All the economic problems contribute to a major political problem for the president.
Is it all his fault? Of course not, but it is now his responsibility, and he and fellow Democrats are in danger of having serious political consequences. Biden promised to get a basic return to normal, or at least a path to normalcy. But with the midterm elections just over a year away, they could decide to return power to Republicans unless voters see evidence of this new norm.
None of this is Biden’s fault.
The problems can all be traced back to Republicans who refused to be vaccinated. The supply chain issues are global and have nothing to do with Biden’s policies. The appointment is increasing because COVID is still with us and the pandemic is driving inflation.
There is not a single Biden policy that has caused this mess. Nowhere did Todd mention that Republicans are trying to use the pandemic to sabotage President Biden.
The mainstream media wants Republicans to be in power again.
The corporate media of which Chuck Todd is a member of the university likes divided government because it gives them the conflict and drama they are desperate for, without having to work from real journalism, like inform the public about policies and how their government works.
The corporate media has seen its relevance decline since Trump lost, and Todd’s misleading misrepresentation is an example of how they are working to help Republicans win in 2022.
