Trump to launch ‘TRUTH Social’ media network to fight Big Tech’s tyranny

Former President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he will launch ‘TRUTH Social’, a new social network designed to compete with outlets such as Facebook and Twitter. As Trump says, it is meant to combat the ‘tyranny of Big Tech’.
The app launches beta testing in November, with a full nationwide launch scheduled for the first quarter of 2022.

President Trump filed a motion earlier this month calling for a federal judge to force Twitter to restore his account.
Twitter, previously said they would not remove posts from world leaders because of the ‘newsworthiness’ of their comments, which blocked Trump’s account nearly 10 months ago.
It seems like he wants to get it back.
The motion argue that Trump’s censorship should not be allowed, because the social media platform “exercises a degree of power and control over political discourse in this country that is immeasurable, historically unprecedented, and extremely dangerous to democratic debate.”
