Representatives Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) on Thursday introduced legislation to create a special envoy who will monitor and combat Islamophobia around the world.
“The bill requires the state department to set up a special envoy for monitoring and combating Islamophobia, and that it is sponsored by the state and includes Islamophobic violence and impunity in the department’s annual human rights reports,” Omar said. Press release.
Through the ‘Fighting the International Islamophobia Act’, Ilhan Omar wants the US to police the world and silence political talks and truth about Islamic terrorism.

“We are seeing an increase in Islamophobia in almost every corner of the globe,” he said.
