‘Incredible catches’ from the last day of the Oman leg of the T20 World Cup. Look

Bangladesh has entered the Super 12 phase of the T20 World Cup with an 84-run victory over Papua New Guinea (PNG). The team led by Mahmudullah completely dominated PNG in the match, first with the bat and later with the ball. Bangladesh first batted 181/7 before their bowlers brought the lead from Asad Vala for a total of 97 to secure a comfortable 84-run victory. In the other match in Oman was hosted by Scotland as the Kyle Coetzer, who was in the lead, reached Group B.. Apart from batting and bowling, there were several top-class fielding performances from the teams that caught everyone’s attention. The ICC went to Instagram to share a video of some of the “amazing catches” in a compilation of all the layoffs from the last day of the Oman leg of the T20 World Cup.

In the first game of the double-header on Thursday, Shakib hit on his first ball to dismiss the PNG versatile Charles Amini. Shakib threw a ball to Amini who fired a big shot, but Mohammad Naim put in an excellent performance in the field with his brilliant dive that prevented the ball from clearing the boundary line.

The Sese Bau from Papua New Guinea was exceptional in the field and scored a total of three catches. His catch at the square fence to fire Litton Das also appears in ICC’s post.


It was the last match day of round 1, Group B. Bangladesh, who booked their place in the Super 12s, won two of their three matches in this round. They have joined Group 1 of the Super 12 stages, taking on Australia, England, West India and South Africa.

Scotland, who remained unbeaten in the Round 1 innings, joined India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and New Zealand in Group 2 for the Super 12 innings.
