NIH admits: Yes, US government did research in Wuhan Lab

Wednesday, a letter from a top official of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) allowed that US dollars funded research in the Chinese Wuhan laboratory, some of which are suspected to be the origin of COVID-19.

Not just any profitable research: specifically research on bat coronaviruses.

That sounds different from what the White House’s best doctor, Anthony Fauci, told Congress when asked about possible U.S. funding for the lab by Senator Rand Paul.

Fauci to Paul in July: “If anyone’s lying here, Senator, it’s you!”

The NIH letter quickly points out that research on coronaviruses is “not the SARS-CoV-2”, and could not be, the technical term for COVID-19, claiming that they are only a ‘limited’ experiment funded.

Yet many people claim that the US actually did research on functional functions in the now infamous laboratory in Wuhan.

When Paul Fauci pressed for funding at the end of July, Fauci answered“You do not know what you are talking about. If anyone’s lying here, Senator, it’s you! ”

“You are completely and utterly wrong, the NIH has never and does not fund more functional research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” Fauci insisted at the time.

In the official letter from the NIH, National review reported that it “revealed that EcoHealth Alliance, the American non-profit organization that sent NIH money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, was not transparent about the work it does.”

In the letter to Representative James Comer (R., Ky.), Lawrence A. Tobacco of the NIH mentions a ‘limited experiment’ conducted to test whether ‘spike proteins of naturally occurring bat coronaviruses found in China distributed, is able to bind to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model, “NR reported.

Are there consequences for Fauci?

“The laboratory mice infected with the modified bat virus have become ‘sicker’ than those infected with the unaltered bat virus,” the Conservative newspaper said.

Now that someone at the NIH has come out with information that seems to contradict dr. Fauci, will he then be challenged or if held accountable? Will anything happen to him if it turns out he lied before Congress? Will he even have to explain himself?

It is certainly possible that Fauci did not know about every award issued by the NIH. But will he even be asked?
