Tamannaah Bhatia to take legal action against MasterChef Telugu
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia decided to take legal action against a popular cooking reality show about alleged default and unprofessional conduct. Known for her work in the Hindi, Telugu and Tamil film industries, Tamannaah hosted the Telugu version of a popular cooking reality show before things soured and the makers stopped communicating with her. Tamannaah Bhatia, who spoke to ETimes Tamannaah’s lawyer, was forced to take legal action due to the non-payment of MasterChef Telugu and unprofessional actions by the production house Innovative Film Academy. Despite the ongoing default and unprofessional approach, she canceled other commitments and was determined to complete the entire project. Since the production house stopped communicating with her overnight, she is now obliged to file a lawsuit against them. While speaking earlier on her TV debut, Tamannaah said: ‘When I was first approached for this show, it was an immediate yes for me, because I’m a big eater and everyone who shares my Instagram – handle follows, should know this. On top of that, I have a lot of time to explore my culinary talent during this lockdown, and I thought that people who have always seen me in some character on screen will see my true self and love of food. I consider it a wonderful opportunity to explore and present my true self and love of food and cuisine. ‘The production house allegedly replaced the actress and now Anasuya Bharadwaj is hosting the cooking reality show. According to some reports, Anasuya, who is currently hosting a popular comedy show, has already shot for a few episodes of the show. On film front, Tamannah will soon be seen in ‘Plan A Plan B’, alongside Riteish Deshmukh. The actress also has ‘F 3’ and ‘Bole Chudiyaan’ in the pipeline.
