Florida Surgeon general refuses to wear mask kicked out of assembly with Democratic lawmaker

Florida Surgeon Joseph Ladapo has reportedly been asked to leave a meeting with state senator Tina Polsky (D) after refusing to wear a mask earlier this week.
Polsky, who was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer in August, claims she told Ladapo said she had “a very serious medical condition” and repeatedly asked him to wear the mask.
Ladapo, who strongly opposes mask mandates, offered to go outside with the senator, but Polsky said she would rather talk to him in her office.
After an exchange of comments, the surgeon-general and his assistants were asked to leave.
“It was so shocking to me that he treated me this way,” Polsky told the Associated Press.
“If he is a surgeon-general in the coming years, I’m really worried about a future public health emergency and I can not rely on him for the necessary guidance and proper scientific leadership.”

Florida Surgeon General Refuses to Wear Mask
Florida Ladies Surgeon Joseph Ladapo, who was chosen in part because of an anti-mandate sentiment he shares with Gov. Ron DeSantis, “worked to strengthen the state’s ban on school mask mandates and even boosted COVID’s effectiveness. -19 vaccines questioned. . ”
In a column in the Wall Street Journal last month, Ladapo aimed at “a zealous pursuit of wearing public masks” which he noted had at best had a modest effect on viral transmissions.

DeSantis appointed Ladapo in September, where he immediately said he does not believe in school closures, restrictions or vaccine mandates.
“Florida will completely reject fear as a way of making public health policy. So we are done with fear, ”Ladapo declared.
“This has been something that has unfortunately been at the center of health policy in the United States since the beginning of the pandemic and it is over here,” he added. “Expiration date. It’s done.”

Fight against the mandates
Florida is fast becoming ground zero for the fight against government violations and forced mandates.
Governor DeSantis recently threatened to to take President Biden to court over the administration’s extensive vaccine mandate, arguing that he has no right to take work away from essential workers.
“Let’s not let Biden come in and effectively take away the work of people who have worked hard through this whole pandemic – threatening to take it away,” DeSantis said. “I am insulted that a police officer could possibly lose their job.”

Leon County in Florida previously fined $ 3.57 million for imposing a vaccine mandate on local government employees in violation of the state’s ban on vaccine passports.
Under Florida law, any business entity – including the local government – that requires proof of a COVID vaccine is subject to a $ 5,000 fine per violation.
The corporate media and elite Democrats (but I repeat myself) are desperate to push the false narrative that “counter-mandate” is the same as “anti-wax.” As usual they lie.
As @GovRonDeSantis has always said, vaccines should be available to everyone – but not forced on ANYONE.#Let’s go

DeSantis now tries to offer $ 5,000 bonus to police officers to relocate to Florida where they can prevent vaccination mandates from being imposed in blue cities and states like New York.
“We are actually actively working to recruit law enforcement outside the state, because we do have needs in our police and our sheriff’s departments,” DeSantis said in a Fox News interview over the weekend.
“So, in the next legislative session, I’m hopefully going to sign legislation that gives a $ 5,000 bonus to any state law enforcement that moves to Florida,” he continued.
Gov. Ron DeSantis hopes to enact legislation that offers $ 5,000 bonuses to police outside the state who move to Florida:

He encouraged those officers working in blue cities to come to the Sunshine State.
