I was SO privileged to be invited to chaperone @WiltonManorsES‘s outing to the incredible Rosie’s! The students and I had a great time and learned a lot about our community! A big thank you to @RosiesBnG for hosting this special field trip every year! pic.twitter.com/A3rpMbyUJP

The Washington Examiner report:
A school board member in Florida is criticized after she said she was “honored” to accompany a group of elementary school students on an outing to a gay bar.
Sarah Leonardi, a member of the Broward County School Board, said she took the children from Wilton Manors Elementary School to Rosie’s Bar & Grill on what looked like an annual field trip, according to a Wednesday post by Leonardi on social media .
“I was SO privileged to be invited to accompany Wilton Manors Elementary’s field trip to the incredible Rosies!” she posted to Facebook with pictures. “I and the students had a great time and learned a lot about our community! Many thanks to Rosie’s Bar and Grill who offer this special field trip every year! ”
Images of the outing show children sitting in the bar and posing with the restaurant’s sign. The Washington Examiner do not post the photos out of respect for the minor children.
