Reports further claimed that Wankhede’s team found clothes, sneakers and expensive perfume with him. That same year, singer Mika Singh also had a brush with Sameer Wankhede. He apparently returned from Bangkok and tried to leave the airport premises without declaring a sum of Rs 9 lakh. When his bag was scanned, officers apparently found sunglasses, perfume and alcohol bottles.
