Australian cricket team opening David warning showed up in a light mood for the post-match press conference after a crucial victory over Sri Lanka in the Super 12 phase of the continued T20 World Cup in Dubai. Warner looked stress-free after his explosive knock of 65 runs in just 42 balls that was crucial in his team’s seven-wicket win at Dubai International Stadium. However, all the talk about the game got a setback when Warner grabbed the two bottles of soda held in front of him and asked if he could have it removed. Warner was re-staging an incident earlier this year when soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo created a stir by removing soft drink bottles before Portugal’s opening match for the European Championship in 2020 against Hungary.
While recreating the opportunity, Warner even mentioned Ronaldo’s name, saying: “If it’s good enough for Cristiano [Ronaldo], It’s good enough for me.”

Warner’s good mood was a reflection of Australia’s positive performance against Sri Lanka, which helped the team achieve its second victory in as many matches.
Warner and captain Aaron Finch batted superbly to help Australia get off to a strong start in their 155-run chase.
The Australian bowling attack is first on the field and was put under pressure despite an early wicket in the match. But spinner Adam Zampa and pacemaker Mitchell Starc gave no place to the Sri Lankan batsmen at all as they limited the island nation to 154/6 in 20 overs.
However, that target could not prove good enough as Australia’s batsman, led by Warner, chased the run with three overs to spare.
