South Africa bowlers put in a fantastic performance to bundle Bangladesh for 84 runs in their fourth match of the ongoing T20 World Cup. Kagiso Rabada was off the top shelf with the ball against the Mahmudullah-led team when the fast bowler returned with impressive 3/20 figures. Rabada fired Mohammad Naim, Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur Rahim for breaking the back of Bangladesh’s batting. Meanwhile, South Africa’s Reeza Hendricks has a brilliant catch of Mushfiqur Rahim in the slips from Rabada’s delivery. The South African pacemaker bowled a rugby-length delivery, which surprised Rahim when he opened with the batting face. The ball flew from the bat to the wide second slip area where Hendricks was placed. Hendricks put his hands in a reflex action and it looked like the ball was stuck in his palms. Repetitions, however, showed that Hendricks actually caught the ball while in motion when he landed on the ground.
Reeza Hendricks had to play his first game against the West Indies when Quinton de Kock made himself unavailable for selection. Hendricks played a hard blow of 39 runs while starting the batting in the 144-run chase against the Caribbean team and also appeared in the match against Sri Lanka.
South Africa have won two of their three matches so far in the tournament and they sit in second place in Group 1 standings. If they win against Bangladesh, their chances of qualifying for the semi-finals will improve.
