It’s time to turn and hit

Former Sen. Claire McCaskill told the Democrats not to waste time figuring out what went wrong in Virginia, but that it’s time to turn around and hit.

McCaskill told MSNBC:
And here’s what I’m most afraid of of. I beg my friends in the Senate of the United States, I’m begs all Democrats on Capitol Hill, do not spend days or minutes even trying to blame someone for what happened tonight. Whose fault was it? Why were the accounts not signed? Can Joe Biden did more?
Iit’s time to turn and hit.
They got an agreement today reduction of prescription medication prices in this country that will be great. They are on the abyss of implement legislation. Forget the top number. See what it’s going to do for women in this country, especially women with children who needs childcare, who wants universal pre-k. And I think we have a opportunity to reverse it for next fall but not if we spend the next three weeks or month trying to find out who to blame.
Republicans are fighting a culture war. It’s time for Democrats to stop screwing around and go on the attack.
Forget Virginia. The election is over.
It is more important to retain control of Congress than to win a gubernatorial election outside the year.
Instead of cutting back on each other, it’s time for the Democrats to strike back.
Glenn Youngkin will serve his one term and Virginia will be blue again. He does not matter. Democrats need to learn from the Virginia election and take offense.
