Republicans achieved major election victories in Long Island on Tuesday, achieving gains that New York’s political establishment did not expect.
Republicans won provincial executive and controller races in Nassau County, a blue-leaning clock that defeated President Joe Biden by 10 points in the 2020 presidential election.
And in Suffolk County, the Republican challenger is ahead in the key District Atty race, in the key Huntington Town supe race, and also in the legislative race in Huntington.
