India opening batter KL Rahul expressed his congratulations after beating Afghan bowlers in the Group 2 match of the Super 12 phase of the continued ICC men T20 World Cup 2021 Wednesday at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Both the Indian openers, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul played with the bat and smashed 74 and 69 respectively. “This is the best wicket we’ve batted in the last three games. Afghanistan finally got a sigh of relief after Karim Janat Rohit removed Sharma in the 15th over, followed by the wicket of the other Indian opening batsman KL Rahul by Gulbadin Naib in the 17th over. The openings partnered a 140-run partnership.

In the last two overs, Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya continued the carnage as the pair collected 35 runs, bringing team India to a total of 210 at the end of the innings.
