Shah Rukh Khan received tremendous support from his industry friends and fans when his son Ariese Khan was in prison in connection with the drug case, and one of them was Rahul Gandhi. According to reports, the congress leader wrote a letter to SRK and Gauri in which he gave his support to the family during the difficult times. Rahul expressed solidarity with SRK and wrote: “Truth can not be held hostage for long.” The politician added that ‘No child deserves to be treated like this’ while mentioning’ I saw the good work you did for people. I’m sure their blessings and goodwill will be with you. ‘ Reports say the letter was written on October 14. When asked to comment, however, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala chose not to respond directly, saying ‘if there is any letter, it cannot be made public’. Coming back to the drug-on-speeding case, Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were arrested on October 3 after the Narcotics Control Bureau conducted a raid. They were discussed in terms of applicable sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act for possession, consumption, sale / purchase of illicit drugs, conspiracy and assistance. According to Aryan Khan’s lawyers, Shah Rukh Khan’s son was invited to the party and no drugs were found with him. Aryan Khan walked out of Arthur Road jail on October 30, after spending 22 days in jail, two days after the Bombay High Court granted him bail on October 28 in the drug-on-speeding case.
