In addition, the documents state that the federal judge gave the artist permission to travel as long as he obtained prior approval from pre-trial services and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
UPDATE: During his virtual court case on October 29, Fetty Wap filed a plea of not guilty. Federal prosecutors requested that he be detained before the trial, which the defense did not dispute.
His next court date is scheduled for November 24.
Fetty Wap found himself in a legal situation.
According to a law enforcement source, FBI agents arrested the rapper, born, William Junior Maxwell II, on Thursday 28 October at CitiField in connection with federal drug charges.
The arrest came hours before Fetty was expected to perform at the Rolling Loud Music Festival in New York. A rep for the festival tells TMZ they had no prior knowledge of the artist’s legal issues.
According to a press release from the Department of Justice, Fetty, along with other defendants, are accused of conspiring to distribute and possess controlled drugs.
