Kylie Jenner issued a statement expressing condolences to the victims of the Astroworld festival tragedy, while also supporting the founder and her partner, Travis Scott, who came under criticism for not stopping the show earlier.
Police said eight people, including one as young as 14, died and scores were injured after a crowded and chaotic crowd rose to the stage at the rapper’s concert in his hometown of Houston. The case is still being investigated. Kylie, who is pregnant, attended the show with her and Travis’ 3-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, a sister Kendall Jenner, and all three, typically accompanied by bodyguards, were unharmed.
“Travis and I are broken and crushed,” Kylie, 24, said in a statement posted to her. Instagram Story Saturday night, November 6th. “My thoughts and prayers are with all who have lost their lives, been injured or affected in any case. [sic] through yesterday’s events. And also for Travis, who I know cares a lot about his fans and the Houston community. ”
