Biden’s approval rating drops to 38%

President Biden’s approval rating took another dive into the latest USA TODAY / Suffolk University poll, with Vice President Kamala Harris and Democrats in Congress also getting bad news.

While Biden’s low approval rating is somewhat similar to that of former President Trump’s at this point, the disapproval rate is significantly higher.

The current president has a 37.8% approval rating with a 59% disapproval – more than 11 points underwater.

It get worse from there.

Forty-six percent of those surveyed said Biden had done a worse job than they might think, and 64% said they did not want Biden to run for re-election in 2024.

Biden’s approval rating is bad – Kamala’s is worse

The rest of the USA Today / Suffolk University poll also did not offer much consolation to Biden’s next in line, Kamala Harris.

Harris has a 28% approval rating with 51% disapproving of her performance since taking office, putting her 23 percentage points under water.

Biden, meanwhile, is finding out about the border debacle, the withdrawal from Afghanistan that led to 13 Americans killed in a terrorist attack and hundreds left behind enemy lines, burdensome vaccine mandates and reports of payments to illegal immigrants while Americans suffer from inflation and supply chain issues.

Biden and Harris are clearly on a sinking ship.

2022 Lyk somber

The sinking ship of Biden and Harris’ approval ratings could have a detrimental effect on congressional Democrats heading into the 2022 midterm.

Even NBC’s Chuck Todd turns out to be see the writing on the wall.

The same poll gives Republicans a 46% to 38% advantage over a generic congressional vote.

Fox News writes, “Congress Democrats … may face an uphill battle to preserve their razor-sharp majorities unless something significant changes before Election Day on November 8, 2022.”

The poll also gives dismal ratings to congressional Democrats – only 29% approve of their work.

President Biden, despite his approval rating, was able to celebrate a landslide victory after several Republicans handed him his $ 1.3 trillion “infrastructure” bill last week, indicating that 61% of Americans support it.

Biden and the First Lady shared a moment to celebrate on a Delaware beach this weekend.

The infrastructure victory came after an election day massacre in Virginia for Democrats and is likely to have little effect on the 2022 ballot box.

Instead, the legendary Democratic strategist James Carville suggested that the party move away from extremist progressives to get back into good grace.

“What went wrong is stupid wakefulness. Do not just look at Virginia and New Jersey. “Look at Long Island, Buffalo, look at Minneapolis, even look at Seattle, Washington,” he assumed.

“I mean this ‘discover the police’ madness, it takes Abraham Lincoln’s name from schools, people see it,” Carville added. “And it really has a repressive effect across the country on Democrats.”

66% of respondents also indicated that the United States is heading in the wrong direction.

Now is the time to support and share the resources you trust.
