Happy Veterans Day 2021 – We honor your service this year more than ever

HAPPY VETERANS DAY 2021
Thank you for serving this great nation.
Veterans Day is an annual holiday in the United States honoring military veterans. A federal holiday, it is observed on 11 November. It is also celebrated in other parts of the world as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day, which falls on November 11, the anniversary of the signing of the armistice that ended World War I.
There is 23.5 million American veterans.
This year, Veterans Day is more important than ever.
Joe Biden handed over Afghanistan to Taliban terrorists earlier this year, arming them with $ 80 billion worth of US weapons and supplies.
It was a blow to the more than 800,000 Americans who have served in Afghanistan over the past 20 years.
Currently, thousands of americans and green card holders is still trapped in the country.
Joe Biden left them stranded when he left the country.
Pray for our country and pray for our men and women who serve this great nation. We will come through this dark, destructive chapter in our history.
Thanks to BG to post it at TGP in 2010:
This is the soldier,
not the President who gives us democracy. This is the soldier,
not the congress that cares for us.This is the soldier,
not the Reporter who gave us Freedom of the Press. This is the soldier,
not the Poet who gave us Freedom of Speech. This is the soldier,
not the campus [community] Organizer who
gave us the Freedom to Demonstrate. This is the soldier,
saluting the flag;
serving under the flag,
and whose coffin was draped by the flag,
which allows the protester to burn the flag.~ Charles Michael Province, US Army
God bless our American veterans.
Veterans, Gold Star families to have free access to national parks from Veterans Day and beyond
Let us always remember – in the words of Ronald Reagan – “freedom is not free and America is the last stand on earth.”
