“Winter is Coming” – Newsom Extends Covid Emergency in California to March 31, 2022

Gavin Newsom, Governor of California, Wednesday expanded the Covid state of emergency until March 31, 2022.

The first Covid emergency order of the Governor of California was declared on March 4, 2020.

Governor Gavin Newsom today signed an executive order to ensure that California’s health care facilities continue to have the staff and resources needed to prevent potential tensions on the state’s health care delivery system as the state prepares for a possible new boom in COVID. 19 cases over the winter.
