Pacer Hasan Ali would like to forget the T20 World Cup semi-final loss to Australia in a hurry after enduring a nightmare outing on Thursday. In the 19th over of the chase, Wade tried to hit a good-length delivery on the leg-side of pacemaker Shaheen Shah Afridi, only to find Hasan Ali hiding in the depths. However, hopes of a wicket soon turned into great embarrassment for the Pakistani pacemaker. Despite making a lot of field at the border, Hasan Ali slipped the ball through his grip in what was apparently a costly mistake for the Pakistani team.
The match was then well balanced, with Australia needing another 18 runs to win from nine deliveries after the catch.

What followed was a classic display of Australia’s fighting spirit. Wade beat Shaheen for three rugby sessions ends the match with a full over.
Halfway through the chase, Pakistan looked the most likely side to join New Zealand in the final on 14 November. But a fierce partnership between Wade and Marcus Stoinis ensured Australia took the game deep.
The late shifting of gears caused the Pakistani bowling attack to rage and dismiss it. In the end, Stoinis and Wade combined brilliantly to get the job done for their team.
All in all, it was a day to forget for the Pakistan team, and especially Hasan Ali.
Apart from the catch, Hasan Ali went on to score 44 runs from his four overs without taking a single wicket.
Spinner Shadab Khan kept his team in the hunt with four wickets in his game, but that still could not stop the Australian team from revising the target of 177 runs and reaching the T20 World Cup final.
