Urfi Javed is trolled for her ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’-inspired yellow sari look, netizens call her ‘Sasti Katrina’ | Hindi Movie News – Bollywood

Urfi Javed is never out of the spotlight, trying as hard as she can. Once again, the TV actress, who has caused quite a stir with her unconventional, quirky appearance while inside the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ house, grabs eyeballs for her latest Bollywood movie-inspired posts on Instagram. In these posts, the actress looks breathtaking in a yellow sari adorned with sequins, inspired by actress Raveena Tandon’s iconic ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’ song. She decorated her look with a choker with stone and styled a wet hair look. Like clockwork, trolls rushed to her comment section to attack her. Some even mocked her and called her ‘sasti Katrina’. One internet user wrote: “Not even 1% of Katrina Kaif.” Another one wrote, ‘ye kya ghodo kee race me gade bhi daudne lage’, followed by laughing emojis. However, the compliments left by her fans surpassed the mean remarks. Only recently did Urfi talk about double standards after she was called ‘cheap’ because she wears a bikini. When she shared a screenshot of an article praising a young actress in a bikini calling her ‘island girl’, she wrote ‘headline of a starkid’. On the other hand, she shared a screenshot of a portal that said Urfi was carrying a small ‘choli’ with her lehenga. The same article said that Urfi is called ‘Besharam’ and what else for the outfit she wore. Urfi captioned: ‘Headline when you’re not a strong kid’. She then shared a video where she could be heard saying, ‘I’m wearing a bikini, I’m cheap and I show a skin and when a strong child wears a bikini, they’re apparently’ hot ‘. Known for playing the role of Avni in ‘Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania’, Aarti in ‘Meri Durga’ and Bella in ‘Bepannaah’, TV actress Urfi Javed gained immense popularity after her short but memorable turn in ‘Bigg’ Boss’ OTT House.
