Australia and New Zealand will face 2021 T20 World Cup final Sunday in Dubai. While the world eagerly awaits the trans-Tasman opponents in the title collision, excitement is building among cricket fans on social media. Former India opening batsman Wasim Jaffer did not want to be left out of the conversation on Twitter and on Saturday shared a hilarious meme of his own, with Team India captain Virat Kohli and New Zealand captain Kane Williamson.
In the meme, Kohli and Williamson are seen talking to each other. The first of the two photos in the meme shows Kohli Williamson congratulating himself before the final.
Williamson responds by asking Kohli for tips on the shoot. In the meme’s second photo, Kohli is seen looking away while Williamson laughs behind him.

The meme refers to Kohli’s poor luck with the throw. India lost in all three of its opening matches of the tournament – against Pakistan, New Zealand and Afghanistan.
India further lost to Pakistan and New Zealand after batting first. The team led by Kohli bounced back with victories over Afghanistan, Scotland and Namibia, but those victories could not stop India from breaking out of the competition in the Super 12 phase.
New Zealand, who started their campaign with a defeat at the hands of Pakistan, defeated India next before victories over Scotland, Namibia and Afghanistan.
Williamson’s team then defeated England in a thriller in the semi-finals to reach the final.
Australia also won four of their five matches in the Super 12 phase before beating Pakistan in the last four to book their place in Sunday’s final.
