Rahul also praised batsman Rohit Sharma and said his tactics and understanding of a match is really commendable.

“There’s no new thing is Rohit’s captaincy. We’ve seen him lead the Mumbai Indians for a long time and his stats are so amazing. He has a good understanding of the game and his tactics are really good. We all enjoy it. “Rohit bats. He’s a great guy to be with and all of us are excited about the New Zealand series,” said Rahul.

Speaking about his role in the team, Rahul said: “I think it’s a collective effort that happens in a team’s sport like cricket. Everyone needs to be clear about their roles. All the players in the team are already a very long time together., we get along very well. It will be nice to go out and play. “

The T20Is will be played on 17 November in Jaipur, 19 November in Ranchi and 21 November in Kolkata.

Following the T20I series, New Zealand will play two-match Test series starting on 25 November.
