19 Nov. 2021 – President Joe Biden is in “good spirits” after his trip to Walter Reed Hospital today for his first annual physically exam and routine colonoscopy as Commander-in-Chief, according to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

A colonoscopy is a medical procedure where doctors examine you big gut (colon) and yours rectum.

A flexible tube with a small camera at the tip is inserted are you rectum, so doctors can look for signs of colon Cancer, bleeding or any other abnormalities.

Because Biden underwent it anesthesia – a treatment that makes you sleepy and prevent you from feeling ache – he temporarily transferred presidential power to Vice President Kamala Harris, making her the first woman in American history to serve as acting president, albeit for only about 90 minutes.

The 25ste amendment to theConstitution provide for this transfer of power when a president is unable to perform their duties. These powers are then transferred to the Vice President until the President documents in writing that he can resume his role in full.

Biden, who turns 79 tomorrow, is the oldest president in the history of the USA.

His health was hot subject of conversation since announcing his candidacy for office.

In 2019, Kevin O’Connor, DO, the White House physician and Biden’s personal physician for more than a decade, released a document detailing Biden’s health.

The report said Biden took the drug Eliquis to help prevent blood clot, Crestor to lower his triglyceride and cholesterol, Nexium for sour reflux, Allegra for allergies, and a nose spray.

The document also said that the president received treatment for atrial fibrillation fibrillation, or an irregular heartbeat.

But O’Conner said in general, the then presidential candidate Biden “a healthy, powerful, 77-year-old man, who is fit to carry out the duties of the Presidency successfully. “

Biden has had serious health concerns in the past, including a brain aneurysm when he served as a U.S. senator in 1988.

Other procedures in Biden’s medical history include gal bladder removal in 2003, several operations for leg injuries, and the removal on non-melanoma skin cancers.

Bidding is still scheduled to attend the annual White House turkey pardon ceremony today in the Rose Garden.
