Watch Blue Ivy Carter Help Bring Jay-Z Into Rock Hall

Blue Ivy Carter is all great and one proud daughter!

The 9-year-old, the eldest of Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s three children, made a rare public appearance in a pre-recorded tribute video to her father that was played during his inauguration in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last month. The ceremony in honor of the 2021 inductions was broadcast on HBO on Saturday, November 20th.

The tribute video to the rapper and producer was later released. Blue Ivy appears at the end of the track, following Beyoncé and more than 30 other celebrities, with each contestant predicting a Jay-Z lyric.

“Congratulations S. Carter, ghostwriter. You paid the right price, so we’re just making your hits stiffer,” Blue Ivy said, performing an edited and censored version of her father’s 1998 track “Ride or Die” before she burst out laughing.

Famous contestants included Kevin Hart, Rihanna, Halle bessie, David Letterman, Chris Rock, ed Sheeran, Idris Elba |, Lin-Manuel Miranda, LeBron James, Alicia Keys, General, DJ Khaled, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Regina Koning, Samuel L.
