Stick to “Basics” and use a little wrinkle: Axar Patel
Axar Patel expressed his thoughts after his breakthrough helped his team limit New Zealand to 296 in the first Test.
“It’s a dream start, in fact, it’s a dream within a dream start for me. No, it (Test cricket) is not that easy. Was a hard grind today. They did not lose wickets yesterday. “and the talk was to keep it tight, do not try to hit every ball wickets, just look to be patient. I stuck to the basics and used the fold a bit,” Axar Patel told the host broadcasters Star Sports said after the Stumps on Day 3.
