Senator Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) Took to Twitter to ask dr. To criticize Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and referred to him as a “Democratic operation” and suggested that he was not a “public health worker”.
““Tony Fauci is nothing more than a Democratic agent,” Cotton wrote on Twitter, adding: ““If President Biden were serious about the pandemic, he would fire Fauci and replace him with a public health worker.”
Tony Fauci is nothing more than a Democratic operation.
If President Biden were serious about the pandemic, he would fire Fauci and replace him with a public health worker.

The problem with Cotton’s statements: Dr Fauci is very much a public health worker, with has served the U.S. public health sector in more than fifty years in various capacities. Dr. Fauci has also been a medical adviser to every president since Ronald Reagan. His contributions to HIV / AIDS research and other immune deficiency diseases are widely known and respected. And in addition to his capacity as the medical adviser to President Biden, dr. Fauci is one of the main members of the White House’s COVID-19 response team.
Suffice it to say that if there was anyone more qualified than Dr. Fauci, we would have found them already.
Cotton’s words did not go down well with the online community, which criticized him for supporting Republican quackery and undermining public health.
This kind of rhetoric will lead to unnecessary deaths.
Tom Cotton literally kills Americans with his ideas. https://t.co/C3c5npA7Ct

“Democratic Operative” = faithful civil servant.
“Public Health Worker” = Jared Kushner

You realize he also worked under “your guy” ?! We also had many shortcomings under Your administration. I’m old enough to remember no toilet paper, hand sanitizer, masks for our doctors, but cool story bro. I’m sure the 🤡 has a 🐶pamper for you

Cotton has repeatedly fueled conspiracy theories about Covid-19’s origins; he once infamous assert during a Fox News interview about the Covid-19 pandemic a “deliberate” and “malicious” attack by the Chinese government on the rest of the world. Since none of his beliefs (or statements on Twitter) are supported by science, we will refer to dr. Fauci stays on this one.
