Awake, fully vaccinated LeBron James tests positive for Covid-19

Despite being fully vaccinated against the virus, LeBron James, who sold out China, tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.

According to TMZ, Lebron has been placed in the NBA’s Covid protocol program and will miss several upcoming games, including tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings.

A few hours before the tip this afternoon, James tested positive for COVID-19 with a lateral flow test. He was given a follow-up PCR test, but that test came back negative. Only after LeBron was then given a third “tie-break” test – which came back positive – was he placed in the NBA’s isolation program.

James will either have to stay away from the team for the next 10 days as he isolates himself under the NBA program, or will have to submit two negative PCR tests before he can return to court.

Lebron is asymptomatic at this time, and TMZ confirm that he has been fully vaccinated.

His positive test comes just after several recent incidents in court in which Lebron’s temper tantrums and childish antics made headlines.

Instead of letting his game speak for itself, he repeatedly caused problems in matches this week, starting by hitting an opposing player in the face, which led to a 20-player fight that broke out that left the 35- year old James delivered the first suspension. of his career – kicking out two fans for talking to him on the sidelines – and eventually making an obscene gesture during a game over the weekend, which earned him a $ 15,000 fine from the league office.

Perhaps his temper is fueled by the poor start to the year for his team (LA sits at just 11-11) and, more importantly for him, a poor performance in his numbers across the board.

Enjoy your time-out, Lebron.
