“I was honestly a little nervous to share this one, because it’s not your typical Christmas single,” she said during her special, before singing the tune, per Our Weekly. “But it was the first song I wrote for this album and I wrote it because a lot of things have been taken away from us over the last few years: people, relationships, work, etc.”
She added: “But instead of looking at everything that went wrong, we need to look at all the things that went right. And that’s what my therapist says to me anyway, so that’s who I’re for. sing! But no matter what people try to take from you, no one can cancel Christmas. ”
