Transgender UPenn swimmer who competed as a man for two seasons breaks women’s records

Sal “Lia” Thomas

Lia Thomas, a transgender UPenn swimmer who competed as a man for two full seasons before “switching” to a woman, broke women’s records in Akron, Ohio, over the weekend.

Thomas also completed one of the races 38 seconds ahead of the woman who finished in second place.

The New York Post reported:

In the final round, Thomas achieved a winning time of 4: 34.06 – good enough for a new Ivy League record.

The swimmer went on to break records on Saturday with a nearly 7-second victory in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1: 41.93 – representing the fastest finish in the country, the school said.

Over the weekend, Thomas also set a new program, event and pool record in the 1650-yard freestyle.

[Thomas] completed that race in 15: 59.71 – more than 38 seconds ahead of second place, teammate Anna Kalandadze.

Here is Thomas before he ‘switched’ into a woman so he could beat the madness of women in swimming events:

“I have been a swimmer since I was five years old. The process of coming out as trans and continuing to swim was very uncertain and unfamiliar around an area that is usually very solid. The realization that I was trans questioned that. Would I keep swimming? What did it look like? ” Lia Thomas said earlier this year.

A video of Thomas swimming in Akron this past weekend shows that he is ahead of his female opponents throughout the competition.

What’s the point of having women’s sports if all the average men who are sick of losing to other men can magically ‘switch’ to women and dominate women?
